Navigation in the document and databases makes use of the concept of "hyper-documents"
(a hyper-zone which points at one or many documents) and of hyper-links (a
hyper-zone associated with detailed queries of one or more databases). The hyper-links can be designed for a customized visualization based on the user's job discipline and according to his access rights. With Hyperviewer, the images become the basis for Docbase and database navigation. Users can then visualize on the screen, at the same time, all of the information coming from different sources, to perform their work :
Communication graphics (simplified process description, installation map, flow chart, etc.) can be integrated in order to respond to the needs of the users who are out in the field, and who may not have access to a keyboard or a standard pointing device. |
